HOBBIESFILM—Thoughts and impressions of the latest films I've seen, not necessarily just theatrical releases, but re-views on DVD or VHS. There are a few write-ups in here, where noted, that have been previously published in magazines. Those reviews tend to have a specific tone that may seem odd for a web audience, but I decided to include them here for the hell of it. (Admin) STORYTELLER—I love telling stories, be it to one person or to a group, be they friends or strangers. I love it so much that I don't even care when the story paints me in a bad light. This section is devoted, mostly, to the stories I've told so many times I can almost recite them verbatim, every time I tell them. "I'M SO BORED ..."—This started a few years ago among my friends Chris, Stuart, and Mike. We all had various office jobs that were sucking the lives out of us and every now and again we'd have to express our boredom to one another in such a way as to make it go away. How bored am I? Let me count the ways.... |
